You have to get allie killed (go to the mall with her and make her answer the call) then block mark, don't answer the door when he knocks then you should be able to go to allies funeral, once you do that go home with Adam. Hope this helps!!
I only ever had Rebecca as a partner, since I haven't played Mark's route yet, but does Mark also kill Allie when he gets jealous or is it Sebastian that kills her? I thought Rebecca only attacks Allie (which gets Allie killed) and Mark only attacks Adam (which makes Adam quit his job) on the « cheating route », 'cause I could never get Rebecca to beat up Adam (kinda fucked up to say with no context LMAO) even if I made Adam answer the call when we're hanging out at the arcade.
Mark only attacks adam (he doesnt kill him) Sebastian is the one that kill either Adam or Allies depending on the route you choose! Mark will only ever attack Adam and Rebecca will only ever attack Allies.

LOVE IT! I've been waiting for this game for a few years. It’s worth every penny, and every route I've played so far feels well fleshed out. The choice tree is a pretty cool addition, given that there are so many paths to take.
Still, I have a few questions about some paths, I think the blonde character visible in the choice tree is called Walter. To reach him, I need to get Adam to quit? If so, how do I make that happen? Also, regarding Mark's route, Adam won't call for some reason. Do I need to complete a specific route in Chapter 1 first?
lemme help ya buddy cause i play this game for 2 days hahaha.
in order to get Walter, you need to post a rose on your social media so mark will be crazy jealous, and make sure adam gets beaten up by mark. (and ignore mark's text, don't block him! even when the stalker calls/text, ignore them too.) and then adam will transfer to another job branch, which means you will work with walter. then after a while, you will get a scene of walter asking you out for a drink (i hope i am right about this cause i play so many times and i might get them mixed up :")
in order for adam to call you during mark's route, you need to have allie's death, adam will come to your house to check on you, make sure be honest with him about the text and admit you're not okay, and during mark's route, adam will def call you.
p.s if you want adam to come over, make sure to select the "i stayed away from him" and it will trigger the scene (in case you have trouble cause i know i did lmao)
also, this was my experience when i played the game, so idk if you can get the same scene with different choice.
let me know if you don't understand or is stuck cause tbh my brain is mashed atm HAHAH

If Rebecca is your partner, the only way to get on Walter's route is to get Adam killed, because Adam never gets attacked by Rebecca, so he'll never quit the job.
This is my favorite game on this platform and Im not even at half of the endings. Stalker is my absolute favorite cuz I love the trope, but other characters are soo detailed! It's obvious author has passion. After playing demo I promised myself that If someday this game will be relased, I'll buy it, so here I am not regretting single dollar <3 See you in your future projects!! I love it so much aaa
When you're on the bus and the stalker texts you, you need to text back. Then, when you hang out with Allie (at the mall) or with Adam (at the arcade), you need to show them the weird texts you keep getting. At this point, you'll have the option to let them call the stalker, which you need to do to get them killed.
Also, I don't know if it changes the route or not, but I think you need to post the rose on social media for the deaths to happen. I've played so many routes, I'm starting to get them mixed up lmao.

The dev replied to another comment and said they were going to make an Android version (although that was 5 months ago, so their plans may have changed between then and now).
My plans haven't changed, but I'm having a lot of trouble with it. It's going to be a while before I figure it all out. From the time I published "Can I walk you home?" (CIWYH) to now, I had to get a new computer, my old one lived a long life of 11 years but when smoke started coming up from the keyboard it was time lololol
Anyway, everything I had set up for Android was on that computer, and it was so long ago, I'm relearning the process and struggling with it. I'm also a little unsure about Android as a whole cause Love Lock is 1GB and I kind of feel like it might be too big for most phones. The other concern I'm having is, also from the time of CIWYH to now, my phone of 10 years died. LOL last year was just a really bad year for me and technology XD Anyway, I don't have a phone to test android on now. So I there's no way for me to know if anything's wrong with it. :(
I'll eventually figure out how to overcome all these challenges, but it's going to take some time.

Have you checked the choice tree? I'm hesitant to post any spoilers but maybe if I make the comment long enough it will hide it with "read more" . . . . . . . . . . . . For Mark or Rebecca you have to break up with them and block all contact in order to make them desperate enough. Easiest method to get there is (any choice up to post it) make sure to pose the image then anything up until hanging out with Adam or Allie) get them to call the number, Avoid all other characters and then answer the knocking door. Hopefully that should get you there. The choice tree should show the path, the path I laid out here is on the very top of the main flow chart.
Could you maybe add a guide to the game? Every time I keep getting either David's route, Kidnapper's route, and Rebecca's/Mark's route and it's kind of getting boring.. :/
This is the demo. The full game, or any of the early betas on Patreon, have a detailed path map for players who want to find different routes (with there being many hours of content for many many distinct paths). Demo's don't usually have a billion routes, that's why they are a demonstration of what the game is going to be like.

I'm honestly not sure. I haven't been well lately so it's been going slower than usual. Which changes the timeline I had previously mapped out. Before now I had thought it would be done around July/August. But I don't think that's the case now.
I'm hoping the writing will be finished this month, and then it's just about testing, art work and editing. But I'm not really sure how long all that is going to take.

I HAVE COME WITH ANOTHER QUESTION, so I got the game and I was trying to see Daneila (If I spelt that wrong I'm sorry) but I couldn't seem to find anything about her, so is she not in the demo, but instead only a character one can get in the full game?
Daneila: I've been spelling it consistently wrong as well don't worry haha. (Someone just pointed it out to me last month lololol after 4 years lolol) She is not in the demo, the demo is 1/30th of the game in the area of the game that is one of my favorite parts (the chase). She is in the full game though as is everyone else but the demo just shows some chasing and 1 capture with a bit of captivity to give the player an idea of what to expect.

There is a way to use Android in the demo, if you extrect the files and download joiplay you will be able to play, it's a little complicated but i think there are tutorials in the internet...
you can play a lot of visual novels in it, but sometimes it doesn't work.
Yes, the game is only available as a demo here on itch until it is completed. However there is beta testing available on Patreon. I would love to say I just have Rebecca left to write but, there's so much left to do. Editing for starters cause I can't hecking spell lol Then all the art though believe it or not that should be the fast part. Each and every single route needs to be polished off with characters jumping, special effects animations, the list goes on. Then bug testing as it's likely to have issues here and there along with things missed in the polish stage. I have a friend who does most of the bug testing for me while I focus on writing but there's just so much content to go over... it's been months and the only character to be fully fixed of all bugs (or at least I hecking hope so lol) is Walter. 1/11

So I'll just pop in and see if anything's changed on here from time to time.

In that case I'll try to post more devlogs, I just kind of feel like I don't have anything really important enough to say for a devlog so I've been avoiding them. Well regardless of my silence over the months you can be assured that Love Lock is indeed being made and it's not going to be an abandoned project. For that matter if you're also waiting on Keep or Kill or Petrify they are also in the making and not going to be abandoned. I schedule my month so that I work on Love Lock for 3 weeks (The 1st to 21st-ish) and aim to complete 10,000 words a month or enough images that it takes the same amount of time as writing 10,000 words for me, it's a personal quota I've placed on myself to give me a place to aim to. Then the last week of the month I spend working on one of the side games (Petrify, Keep or kill and previously Unknown). I hope that reassures both you and anyone else who's been worried that Love Lock won't see completion. I used to make little dev logs saying "Not abandoned" xD maybe I need to do that again since it's been a while lol.
oh I should probably also mention that I estimate Love Lock is going to be completed with around 300,000 words of text (so like two novels. 2 books of Lord of the rings is a good reference) From Google: "300,000 words is 600 pages single-spaced or 1200 pages double-spaced. Typical documents that are 300,000 words or more include full-length novels. It will take approximately 1,000 minutes to read 300,000 words."
Right now I'm at 285, 000. Each character is about 22,000 - 30,000 words long. To give an idea on what that is like: It's about 1.4 - 3.3 hours of reading. From Google: "25,000 words is 50 pages single-spaced or 100 pages double-spaced. Typical documents that are 25,000 words include include novels, novellas, and other published books. It will take approximately 83 minutes to read 25,000 words." So each character is it's own smaller novel. There are 10 Kidnap scenarios so it's basically 10 small novels. Also I know 10 x 25,000 is not 300,000 The other 50,000 words of text is the stalking aspect of the game that leads up to the kidnap.

Nope, you do not need discord to be a beta tester/join Patreon. It's a perk but you don't need it to have access. Lots of updates are on the discord and other fun stuff like Q&A from the characters but you can join Patreon without it.

Each and every single route needs to be polished off with characters jumping, special effects animations, the list goes on.
Then bug testing as it's likely to have issues here and there along with things missed in the polish stage. I have a friend who does most of the bug testing for me while I focus on writing but there's just so much content to go over... it's been months and the only character to be fully fixed of all bugs (or at least I hecking hope so lol) is Walter. 1/11

The Patreon is above my available price range and all of the other outlets you mention require a sign-up in order to view and that's not something I want to do for a singular purpose. So I'll just pop in and see if anything's changed on here from time to time.

In that case I'll try to post more devlogs, I just kind of feel like I don't have anything really important enough to say for a devlog so I've been avoiding them. Well regardless of my silence over the months you can be assured that Love Lock is indeed being made and it's not going to be an abandoned project. For that matter if you're also waiting on Keep or Kill or Petrify they are also in the making and not going to be abandoned. I schedule my month so that I work on Love Lock for 3 weeks (The 1st to 21st-ish) and aim to complete 10,000 words a month or enough images that it takes the same amount of time as writing 10,000 words for me, it's a personal quota I've placed on myself to give me a place to aim to. Then the last week of the month I spend working on one of the side games (Petrify, Keep or kill and previously Unknown). I hope that reassures both you and anyone else who's been worried that Love Lock won't see completion. I used to make little dev logs saying "Not abandoned" xD maybe I need to do that again since it's been a while lol.
oh I should probably also mention that I estimate Love Lock is going to be completed with around 300,000 words of text (so like two novels. 2 books of Lord of the rings is a good reference) From Google: "300,000 words is 600 pages single-spaced or 1200 pages double-spaced. Typical documents that are 300,000 words or more include full-length novels. It will take approximately 1,000 minutes to read 300,000 words."
Right now I'm at 285, 000. Each character is about 22,000 - 30,000 words long. To give an idea on what that is like: It's about 1.4 - 3.3 hours of reading. From Google: "25,000 words is 50 pages single-spaced or 100 pages double-spaced. Typical documents that are 25,000 words include include novels, novellas, and other published books. It will take approximately 83 minutes to read 25,000 words." So each character is it's own smaller novel. There are 10 Kidnap scenarios so it's basically 10 small novels. Also I know 10 x 25,000 is not 300,000 The other 50,000 words of text is the stalking aspect of the game that leads up to the kidnap.

Nope, you do not need discord to be a beta tester/join Patreon. It's a perk but you don't need it to have access. Lots of updates are on the discord and other fun stuff like Q&A from the characters but you can join Patreon without it.
