Aww, I understand how that feels. The good news is when it's done it will be available here on itch and maybe steam? (depending on if it's content breaks TOS or not) for a lump sum instead of a subscription. The Patreon subscription is just for people who want to play it now + benefits. I personally would rather give the game as an exchange for money instead of as a service but it's going to be a long ways until its done and people really wanted to play it now.
I highly recommend becoming a Patreon to play the beta if you can, it's amazing. All the different branching paths make for great replayability. Granted not all character routes are as complete as of yet but it's still awesome.

I never got around to releasing the APK for Android. Nor can I put it on the google play store due to the content but I do plan on making an APK for android. I don't know how well that will go over though as it's a big game and it might take up a lot of space on a phone.

I like that you can choose your pronouns and genitalia preference, although it would be handy if there was a they/them options for some. It would also be great to be able to choose whether you have breasts or not, but that would probably require a lot of rewriting of code and isn't of the highest importance to me
My only issue is with some of the sound. Although I love the ambience and music, the voice lines take me out of it a bit and when I tried to turn down the voice volume, it didn't work. All the audio - music, sound and voice - all are connected to the Sounds volume bar and some I can't turn down one without turning the rest down

I'd like to put a they/them option in there but I don't know if that would work, as some sentences might have to have a prompt. I would love for someone more knowledgeable on pronouns to help educate me on how "they" works in most sentences. I would happily add it if I just knew more so I could make it work.
The complication is if I have a line like this: "No, [he]'s got a point there." Then it's going to replace the [he] with [they]: "No, [they]'s got a point there."
And I don't know enough about pronouns but I'm pretty sure that's wrong.
I see your issue and I understand. Obviously I don't know what method you're using in coding for the different pronouns, but I'm just assuming you've done it so that it will opt in whichever option the player chooses rather than rewriting the entire script just with different pronouns. If you're doing it like that, you're right, just putting in they/them wouldn't work, you would have to make a different sentence structure. Using your example;
"No, they've got a point there."
I imagine that would require a lot of rewriting and fiddly coding and whatnot so I can completely see how that would just be too tasking, but I do appreciate that you at least looked into it, or even have a pronoun option at all.
If ever in the future you want try going for more pronoun options, the dating sim "Dial Town" would be a good example of an expansive pronoun option, it has standard options (He/She/They), but also has a completely customizable option, where the player can use anything as pronouns. You have to jump through some hoops because it means writing each pronoun for each context and whether it's plural etc etc, but I personally found it neat. (If you do look into it, the game is rather weird, but the pronoun thing is solid). I have no clue if the dev is using the same game engine as you, so I don't know if the code would even be transferable, so perhaps it would be useless to you.
I'd be happy to tell you about how they/them pronouns work, although not an expert (I'm also dyslexic, my ability at grammar may not be the most reliable) I just have some friends who use they/them and have thus had to adjust my language to accommodate that

I could do line by line but Love Lock is currently about 200,000 words long... that's going to be a lot of rewritten statements :S So I don't think I've be able to include putting in your own pronoun. Plus... if people put in anything under the sun, how would I structure that grammatically? o.o I have no idea... Though this issue comes in when people put in random names for their name as well. >~<

What I mean is I don't know how I'm suppose to utilize Itch.io to give updates as the updates I tend to give are more like blogging. (Showing a sneak peak CG here, talking about plans, or some works in progress).
I wanted to post updates somewhere on the internet like tumblr, or twitter but there's an issue of content when it comes to these things. A lot of the things I create break the Terms of Service on a lot of sites, so I've stuck to posting updates on discord instead. At least until I find another way. That and I'm also really bad at keeping up with social media >~<, Discord seemed to be the best place to post cause I'm always there.
Anyhew, the jest of all that above is, the updates are available on Patreon (until the game is complete) and Discord (which offers a blogging like update situation.) At least until I figure out a platform to use. Discord also has updates about all things I'm creating, aka the other games.

I'm glad you've liked what you've seen so far, the demo is probably the best look at what to expect. The reason you didn't find Daneila and everyone else's route is because they're not a part of the demo. They're written just not released in this small sample. You can explore them however as a Patreon, but it's beta testing a unpolished game. The full release will have everyone in it's just going to take a while to finish the game haha.
Also glad you loved the Aftercare section, I figured someone out there might need it, better to have it and not need it then need it and not have it. :)
Hello! I really loved your game! I was using my phone to play it (using joiplay). It was working really well. But I couldn't download it on itch.io, It fails in the middle of the download and says "illegal" in my language. I tried using vpn but it didn't work. I downloaded your game from other sites but it never had the content from the photos. I almost tried all options but there was only like 3 CG's. So I thought this must be a old demo. If there is more content on itch.io version.. can you help me download it somehow? Maybe a link to download it?

There's suppose to be 7 CG's in the demo I don't know what other sites are hosting but if your only getting 3 CG's then there's something not right with their download. I could release a build for android so you don't have to use joiplay but if your using a smart phone (apple?) that won't work. Plus you might still run into the illegal issue?

I just played the demo and I have to say that this is quite a spin on the usual games I play.
I enjoyed it immensely and I admire the fact your kept the face covered for the dude since I have quite the fetish for not being able to see faces (Odd I Know)
Falls short on h-content. Feels like a text based game with dull, unnecessary images. That's what I've saw on demo which ends really soon with no content as well.
I hope dev can add some taker pov (with legs and stuff visible) or at least a third person view.

Don't get me wrong, your drawing is fascinating. But as a h-game (which I saw it on a h-games forum) I expect some good stuff (fap material to be honest) which I couldn't find except a man throbbing his D. He wants bj but nothing shown when you comply. (Maybe it's because it was just a demo?) So my opinion is it'd be better if we are to observe it by first person or third person.
The story progress well and I can feel the grim atmosphere. The faces are creepy and fits perfect. But as a h-game it offers almost no content. So on the h-side it felt dull and empty. Sorry for my harsh comment with no context earlier.
This game reminds me of "LonaRPG" by drawing and atmosphere. Both games are great to make you feel the grim and desperation of the world. But for me, Love lock lacked the h-content that Lona gave.

LOL well yea I can't give away all the erotic bits on the demo ;) It's probably not great fap material though, well maybe, but it starts out as a story (as good of a stalking/abduction story without any main character traits so that it's can feel like it is pov, can be) and builds up with the stalking, messages here and there knocking on your door in the middle of the night. It's hard to convey stalking and not have it be slow paced. But yea there's 2-3 as I call it "play sessions" in each route, and those sessions can be as gentle or rough based on how your choices. 2-3 x 2 there's like 4-6 different outcomes per person?(I may be explaining this poorly). Plus bad endings, stockholm syndrome endings, and escape endings which all depend on how you manage your stats (HP, Will power, and abductors Affection for you).
I didn't even know it was on h-games(Actually I don't even know what h-games is x"D never heard of it)... Pirates took it and posted it on a lot of different places, which I don't mind... BUUUUT the version everyone is playing has spoilers in it and a few images that are messed up ;^; and there's not a thing I can do to fix that ... The tags they gave it are also wrong, there's not a great description, or things I didn't know I needed to explain... Honest it's quite the mess. >~< but a learning experience.

I've been following you on this site for a couple months and don't recall any updates on this game, hence my question.
oooooooh yea I can see why it would seem that way. If I'm honest, I don't know what I'm doing lololol.
What I mean is I don't know how I'm suppose to utilize Itch.io to give updates as the updates I tend to give are more like blogging. (Showing a sneak peak CG here, talking about plans, or some works in progress).
I wanted to post updates somewhere on the internet like tumblr, or twitter but there's an issue of content when it comes to these things. A lot of the things I create break the Terms of Service on a lot of sites, so I've stuck to posting updates on discord instead. At least until I find another way. That and I'm also really bad at keeping up with social media

Anyhew, the jest of all that above is, the updates are available on Patreon (until the game is complete) and Discord (which offers a blogging like update situation.) At least until I figure out a platform to use. Discord also has updates about all things I'm creating, aka the other games.

I'm glad you've liked what you've seen so far, the demo is probably the best look at what to expect. I hope to make many more games like this in the future, maybe not as big as Love Lock, but consistent with the genre. :) There's more details about these things on the discord actually, with posts on other Horror games currently in progress. The reason you didn't find Daneila and everyone else's route is because they're not a part of the demo. They're written just not released in this small sample.
You can explore them however as a Patreon, but it's beta testing a unpolished game. The full release will have everyone in it's just going to take a while to finish the game haha.
Also glad you loved the Aftercare section, I figured someone out there might need it, better to have it and not need it then need it and not have it. :)
Hello! I really loved your game! I was using my phone to play it (using joiplay). It was working really well. But I couldn't download it on itch.io, It fails in the middle of the download and says "illegal" in my language. I tried using vpn but it didn't work. I downloaded your game from other sites but it never had the content from the photos. I almost tried all options but there was only like 3 CG's. So I thought this must be a old demo. If there is more content on itch.io version.. can you help me download it somehow? Maybe a link to download it?
Hi there, that's interesting. I wonder why it says it's illegal. That's really concerning :S
There's suppose to be 7 CG's in the demo I don't know what other sites are hosting but if your only getting 3 CG's then there's something not right with their download. I could release a build for android so you don't have to use joiplay but if your using a smart phone (apple?) that won't work. Plus you might still run into the illegal issue?
I can also temporarily put up a dropbox/mega link for you to download from (I'll eventually have to delete it for space though >.<) You could also join the discord server and I can help you out there. Discord
I don't know which version (pc,mac, or linux) joiplay uses so I'll post a link to them all here, once you get them can you let me know? I'd really appreciate it so I can safely delete them knowing you won't have missed out.

I can definitely see the Boyfriend to Death influence. It's an intriguing start and I'm excited to see where you go with this. I wouldn't let the disapproving comments here get to you btw F95 is just very particular about what they like in my experience and don't seem to get that other people like different things.

Yea I learned more about F95 in January then I would of liked to lol, I didn't even know it was a piracy site, I thought my game was straight up plagiarized when I found it there lol.

I'm doing ok with it now :) and with all the people who've joined Discord and are following me here I see that there's a lot of fans interested in Love Lock despite the nay sayers. So that keeps me going :) and means a lot to me.

It's not out yet, I'm still creating it. Trying to get another update out as fast as possible but it's going to be a while. I share announcements on the discord server though if you're interested in seeing content as it's being made. I just share some CG's and what not as I'm making it. I try not to post anything to spoilerish.

I just played the demo and I have to say that this is quite a spin on the usual games I play.
I enjoyed it immensely and I admire the fact your kept the face covered for the dude since I have quite the fetish for not being able to see faces (Odd I Know)
Never played an adult game like this before. There is not a lot of games where you play as the sub. I'm looking forward to more content. ;)
Falls short on h-content. Feels like a text based game with dull, unnecessary images. That's what I've saw on demo which ends really soon with no content as well.
I hope dev can add some taker pov (with legs and stuff visible) or at least a third person view.

Don't get me wrong, your drawing is fascinating. But as a h-game (which I saw it on a h-games forum) I expect some good stuff (fap material to be honest) which I couldn't find except a man throbbing his D. He wants bj but nothing shown when you comply. (Maybe it's because it was just a demo?) So my opinion is it'd be better if we are to observe it by first person or third person.
The story progress well and I can feel the grim atmosphere. The faces are creepy and fits perfect. But as a h-game it offers almost no content. So on the h-side it felt dull and empty. Sorry for my harsh comment with no context earlier.
This game reminds me of "LonaRPG" by drawing and atmosphere. Both games are great to make you feel the grim and desperation of the world. But for me, Love lock lacked the h-content that Lona gave.

LOL well yea I can't give away all the erotic bits on the demo ;) It's probably not great fap material though, well maybe, but it starts out as a story (as good of a stalking/abduction story without any main character traits so that it's can feel like it is pov, can be) and builds up with the stalking, messages here and there knocking on your door in the middle of the night. It's hard to convey stalking and not have it be slow paced. But yea there's 2-3 as I call it "play sessions" in each route, and those sessions can be as gentle or rough based on how your choices. 2-3 x 2 there's like 4-6 different outcomes per person?(I may be explaining this poorly). Plus bad endings, stockholm syndrome endings, and escape endings which all depend on how you manage your stats (HP, Will power, and abductors Affection for you).
I didn't even know it was on h-games(Actually I don't even know what h-games is x"D never heard of it)... Pirates took it and posted it on a lot of different places, which I don't mind... BUUUUT the version everyone is playing has spoilers in it and a few images that are messed up ;^; and there's not a thing I can do to fix that ... The tags they gave it are also wrong, there's not a great description, or things I didn't know I needed to explain... Honest it's quite the mess. >~< but a learning experience.
